  • mood: apathetic

song: i dont wanna fall in love - good charlotte

C'est le jeudi  vingt mars deux mille huit

    the daughter of chaos

The scent of blood etched in the lines of her palms

The curse of destruction embedded in her fingertips

    “This, too, shall Pass”

the contact of hand to skin

slowly her limbs disappear, sinking into flesh

eagerly searching for a pulse, quite a disappointment

love or life, which is greater?

Not that it mattered to her

Both shriveled away from her like
    the
    victims of her touch

    “You know not the Hour”

Questions for the Universe, always in flux

Where is the End of Time?

She cannot hold on, unable to wait any longer

One caress of her nail, the glass is shattered

    Step lightly, one, two, three,

Faintly grazed, oh no, down on the floor

    Lifelessly drenched in a pool
    of
    death

    “It’s
    never too Late”

Traveling on from the latest mistake

One, two, three, one, two, three

    Dead halt, one, two, three

A puzzling notion nags her fingers

    Spin, twirl, unraveling her world

No gap, but yet life sustained

    Curious, she ventured further

    A tighter grip, digging in
    her
    fingertips

    But life held steady,
    somehow
    unabated

Was this the one she long awaited?

    “Let there be Light”

A sneaky endeavor, to take the
    breath

    from the daughter of chaos,

an adamant danger, of ignorant bliss

now inanimate and unaware of the complications in her presence

how all shied permanently from her company

unbeknownst of the rumored curse dispelled

her loss of life saved her soul from eternal Hell

    “Ask and You Shall Receive”
